All fades

Reading Time: < 1 minute

( Note : The theme is relevant for all my readers. But of course, the poem is meant for a special person )

We have a beautiful world of ours ,
It houses you, me and a great many stars.

One of happiness, another of love ,
a dozen of ohs, a score of okays,
a hundred of unspoken lines, a thousand of hopes,
a million of dreams and a billion of memories.

A mellowing glint in thy eyes, the slightest nod of your head, yes,
not much time did it take,
to blossom, to be made,
But one day, it will all fade .

That day, knowing the purest gem with me is no more ,
will be the worst pang my heart will ever endure.
Seems as simple to fit the probable future in mind,
will be that hard to realize the fate, that’s so unkind .

Yes, we have a beautiful world of ours.
It houses you, me and a great many stars.

I feared, these stars might turn into scars ;
Unlike stars of many kind, scars be one –  of anguish.
Now I don’t, now that you have enlightened me,
I am patient and in a silly way, gleeful .

Baby, you taught me something valuable that dawn-
The rule of life to bear and tread on,
Trying to forgive and forget all that’s gone,
fighting with thoughts and feelings, all that’s forlorn.

A pervasive coherence in thy words, the lilt in thy voice, yes,
not much time did it take,
to blossom, to be made,
yes, one day, it will all fade.
